Practice for Test 1: PASSIVES
 Several years ago, NPR did a series of six stories on the historical relationship between pop music and technological development.  The series was called TechnoPop: The Secret History of Technology and Pop Music.

For our practice test on passives, you'll need the information from Part Five: The One-Man Band.  Listen to this story and take notes on its contents.  Bring your notes to class for the practice test, and be sure to keep them.  You'll also need these notes for the main test.

To help you, here is some useful vocabulary for Part Five.

Listen to this story and take good notes on its contents.  Bring these notes to class for the test.  During the test, you'll need your notes for Part Six of the series, and you will also need your notes on Part Five.
