Elvis Aaron Presley is a famous rock musician in U.S. People call "The King Of Rock & Roll" and the founder of Rock'n' Roll.

We introduce E. A. P.‘s biography. On January 8, 1925, Elvis Aaron Presley was born in Tupelo, Mississippi. In 1948, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee in search of a better life economically. In June 3, 1953, Elvis graduated from Humes High School. March 24, 1958, Elvis Presley was inducted into the U.S. Army at the Memphis Draft Board and was assigned serial number 53310761. In December 1966, Elvis formally proposes marriage to Priscilla. After that, on May 1, Elvis and Priscilla were married in a private ceremony at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. Then the couple honeymoon for a few days in Palm Springs. In February 1, 1968, Priscilla gives birth to Lisa Marie Presley nine months to the day after her marriage to Elvis. In July 1972, Elvis and Priscilla’s separation was formalized. A divorce was to come. Elvis has begun seeing Linda Thompson, who will be his main female companion until late 1976. In November, 1976, Elvis meets Ginger Alden who will be his steady girlfriend until his death. In August 16, 1977, Elvis Presley was dead of heart failure, at his Memphis home, Graceland. It was announced by mid-afternoon.

The Fifties were devoted to rock and roll and the Sixties to movies. First, on August 15, 1955, Elvis signs a management contract with Hank Snow Attractions, which was owned equally by Snow and Colonel Tom Parker. In November 20, 1955, Elvis signs his first contract with RCA Records. The price was an unbelief $40,000. After that, in January 10, 1956, Elvis has his first recording session for RCA. Among the songs laid to tape during this session was "Heartbreak Hotel." Then in August 1956, Elvis began shooting his first movie, Love Me Tender. In September 9, 1956, Elvis made the first of three appearances on the Ed Sullivan Show. In September 26, 1956, Elvis Presley Day was proclaimed in Tupelo, Mississippi. In October 28, 1956, Elvis made his second of three appearances on Ed Sullivan. In January 6, 1957, Elvis made his third and final appearance on Ed Sullivan’s Toast of the Town Show. It was for this appearance that Elvis was seen only from the waist up. Finally, in February, 1963, Elvis records and films for his thirteenth film, another “formula” movie, Fun in Acapulco.

He starred in 33 successful films, made history with his television appearances and specials, and live concert performances. Globally, he has sold over one billion records. In addtion, he won 3 grammys out of fourteen nominations. Also, in August 27, 1965, The Beatles visited with Elvis for several hours at his home in California and have an informal jam session. Moreover, in December 3, 1968, Elvis, the 1968 TV special, first airs on NBC-TV and was one of this biggest television hits of the year. In December 1970, Elvis’ famous visited with President Richard Nixon at the White House occurs. Finally, in June 26, 1977, a concert at Indianapolis, Indiana’s Market Square Arena. This will turn out to be his very last concert performance.
